We have enjoyed exhibiting at both the Gidgegannup SFFD and the Balingup SFFD in previous years. It’s a great way to catch up with past and future clients and there is always a great line up of speakers and information. However, we do find it difficult to escape the farm and attend. Please check your local papers for current SFFD dates.

Canberra – Future Farm Forum
Early April 2014 Morgan was in Canberra for the finalisation of the Evergraze project – Future Farms Live. This project was jointly funded by a number of Australian organisations focusing on incorporating perennials into broadacre agriculture. Morgan was involved in the Evergraze nation wide project from 2005 – 2013. More details on both the Evergraze and Future Farms web site (see link page).
Kangaroo Island – South Australia
On March 24th – 26th 2014 we had a quick trip to KI to visit previous clients and meet a few farmers who are also thinking of planting kikuyu pastures. The main discussion this trip was on management and what can be done to get even more out of your Kikuyu pastures. Morgan also gave an evening presentation at the Parndana Golf Club on “Practical tips on how to grow and manage your kikuyu paddocks”.
Thank you all very much for your hospitality and especially to Lyn for organising our schedule and including a bit of “Deb” time into the plan. There is so much to see on KI and next time we visit we are going to include a holiday break!!
